Spicy Pork Ribs

Ingredients

Pork back ribs, 1 potato, half an onion, 4 stalks of green onion, a slice of ginger, 1 bay leaf, a few whole black peppers

Sauce

5 tbsp TK Spicy Galbi Sauce, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 cup water, 1–2 tbsp minced garlic, 1 tsp ginger, black pepper, 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Soak the pork ribs in cold water to remove the blood.

  2. In a pot, add the ribs, bay leaf, whole black peppers, ginger, and green onions. Bring to a boil. Once boiling, add about half a cup of soju or rice wine and continue boiling for about 20 minutes.

  3. Cut the potato into large chunks. Roughly chop the onion and green onion.

  4. Drain the pot and rinse the ribs under running water.

  5. Return the ribs to the pot, mix the TK Spicy Galbi Sauce, soy sauce, and water, then pour it over the ribs.

  6. When the meat is partially cooked, add the potatoes, minced garlic, and ginger. Cover the pot and continue cooking.

  7. If the sauce reduces too much during cooking, add more water to adjust the consistency.

  8. Once the meat is fully cooked, add the chopped onion and green onion and let it simmer briefly.

  9. Finish by adding 1 tablespoon of honey and a drizzle of sesame oil.
