Stir Fried Rice Cakes

Ingredients

• 250g sliced rice cakes (tteokguk-tteok)

• 100g ground beef

• 1/4 onion

• A small amount of carrot

• 2 green onions

Seasoning

• 2 tablespoons TK bulgogi galbi sauce

• 1 teaspoon sesame oil

• Ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Julienne the onion and carrot. Slice the green onions lengthwise.

  2. In a pan, add the ground beef along with the TK sauce and black pepper. Stir-fry until the beef is half-cooked, then add sesame oil and continue stir-frying.

  3. Add the onion and carrot, stir-fry together, then add the green onions.

  4. Once the vegetables are slightly cooked, pour in a little water and add the rice cakes.

  5. Cook until the rice cakes soften and the water reduces to a slightly thick consistency.

  6. Plate and serve.
